Software Versions

macOS 10.15 Catalina

This version of macOS was announced at WWDC 2019 and will launch in Fall 2019. macOS Catalina brings new dedicated Music, Apple TV, and Podcasts apps. Catalina also brings support for sidecar, a feature that allows users to use their iPad as an external display.

macOS Catalina is compatible with the MacBook 2015 or later, MacBook Air 2012 or later, MacBook Pro 2012 or later, Mac Mini 2012 or later, iMac 2012 or later, iMac Pro 2017 or later, and Mac Pro 2013 or later.

macOS 10.14 Mojave

This version of macOS was announced at WWDC 2018 and launched in September 2018. It brings a new dark mode, Apple News app, Stocks app, Voice Memos app, Home app, Redesigned App Store, Finder Improvements, and more.

macOS 10.13 High Sierra

This version of macOS was announced at WWDC 2017 and launched in Fall 2017. It brought refinements and APFS.

This version of macOS was announced at WWDC 2016 and launched in Fall 2016. It brought Siri to the Mac, along with iCloud Drive improvements.

This version of OS X was announced at WWDC 2015 and launched in Fall 2015. It brought split screen support and other improvements.

OS X 10.10 Yosemite

This version of OS X was announced at WWDC 2014 and launched in Fall 2014. It brought a major redesign revamp to the Mac.

This version of OS X was announced at WWDC 2013 and launched in Fall 2013. It brought iBooks to the Mac, along with improvements to multiple displays and more.
